Yesterday was the judging of Ashton on Mersey‘s entry to the RHS village in bloom competition. Here are a collection of photos from Green Lane, the main high street through Ashton village.

Throughout the village you can find local community groups have painted containers for the flowers and all the local businesses (independent and chains) have stepped up to the challenge. It really is worth a trip if you can make it in the next few weeks. Well done Ashton and good luck in the competition!
