Just before our Summer break we had a Summer garden party in Walkden Gardens, Sale Moor. This was the first time we had been met in person since February 2020 and it felt so good to be together again!

We set up the theatre area of the gardens with bunting to lead the way and balloons in the hedges. There was fizz on arrival, a sandwich buffet and some incredible sweet treats too. After a good catch up and a welcome to new faces there were a few ice breakers to help get to know each other again. There were even some garden games to try too.

Highlights included a lost frisbee which had to be rescued at length from the hedge and a cheeky fox who stole a bag with someones car key! Thankfully the bag was found with all the contents, although it was slightly chewed.

We’ll back at our usual venue, Templemoor Infant School for our September meeting which will be chocolate making. Hope to see you there!
