Sale and District Lions and Act4Africa are joining together to help local communities in Sale and Uganda. They are raising money with a Scarecrow Safari all over the town and you spot them in local businesses, community places and resident’s gardens.
Templemoor Infant & Nursery School, Bee Moor WI’s very own monthly meeting venue, was recently announced as the winner of the facebook competition with their “Woody” scarecrow.

The scarecrows will remain up over the summer for everyone to see. You can hunt for them, take a selfie and even find maps at local businesses to help you on your safari. Take a look at the submissions on the Scarecrow Safari facebook page.
If you still want to make a scarecrow, that’s fine too! The competition has closed but you can still join the fun! Follow the link to make a donation to the charities and enter your details.
